Ricardo George Assaf

Founder and Managing Partner of Alpina Investments and CEO of EMPRESTA Capital, Ricardo has over 25 years of experience across international financial institutions in Europe and Brazil. He previously held senior roles at Citi, Bear Stearns, IBM Consulting, and ABN AMRO.
He founded EMPRESTA Capital, a Central Bank regulated financial institution that structured and scaled Brazil’s condominium credit ecosystem. At Alpina Investments, he bridges international investors with regulated Brazilian financial institutions through disciplined, strategic growth.

Leandro Lopes

Leandro is Co-Founder and Partner of EMPRESTA Capital, a Central Bank regulated financial institution focused on structured credit solutions in Brazil. He brings extensive experience in strategic planning, commercial leadership, and operational management.
He is also Managing Director and Partner of SIVA – Steel Wire Rope Company, where he oversees large scale manufacturing operations, quality systems, and international commercial development.

Pierre-François Manzetti

Pierre-François Manzetti is Chief Executive Officer of ConnectAssets WM and Managing Director of ConnectAssets. Prior to joining ConnectAssets, he spent over a decade at Landolt & Cie SA as Head of Private Banking International and 12 years at UBS in Geneva, New York, and São Paulo, where he held several senior roles up to Executive Director. He holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from the University of Fribourg.
